
Ham Bootcamp includes a series of demonstrations and tutorials designed to help newly licensed Technician, General, and Extra class license holders get on the air and use their amateur radio license. Ham Bootcamp is also an excellent opportunity for prospective Hams who are interested in seeing what the hobby has to offer.
Ham Bootcamp activities are provided online via a series of sessions geared towards Technicians, prospective Hams, and Hams with General class licenses and higher. Ham Bootcamp participants will find all of this material interesting and fun, regardless of their focus or license level.

Videos and presentations from the latest Spring 2025 Ham Bootcamp session are provided below for use by Nashua Area Radio Society Members and Internet Subscribers. You must be a Member or Internet Subscriber of the Nashua Area Radio Society (NARS) and be logged into the NARS website to view the videos and presentations.

Additional Training and Mentoring

The Nashua Area Radio Society’s mission is to:
- Encourage and help people to become licensed and active in the Amateur Radio Service
- Spark Interest among young people in STEM Education and Careers through Amateur Radio

- Tech Night Program, which provides training on a wide range of Amateur Radio activities and technical topics
- Forums where Members and Internet Subscribers can ask questions and share projects and ideas
- License Class Training programs have helped us to license or upgrade over 300 Hams in the last few years. We offer Tech, General, and Extra License, classes. We also provide online license exams for class students!
- High-Altitude Balloon and other STEM learning programs, which bring Amateur Radio to young people
